We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Formulator, which has the potential to provide a promotion opportunity to team manager in the future. The role will lead and manage the scientific, technical and manufacturing aspects of product development, clinical trial manufacturing, and scale up of solid oral dosage forms. Providing technical leadership to process and formulation development associated with product formulation and technology transfer project activities.
The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring the development activities meet current regulatory submission requirements for development pharmaceutics; including quality by design, excipient compatibility, discriminating dissolution and compilation of the CMC sections of dossiers with overall technical input for supporting client’s projects.
The successful candidate will have technical expertise coupled with project management, organisation skills to drive project delivery and line management experience. This will be achieved by utilising a high level of scientific principles, analytical and logical methodology, team working behaviours and decision making / influencing skills.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach with self-motivation and team skills. Providing examples of when they’ve been proactive, accepted, encouraged and implemented change.
The successful candidate is expected to hold a Masters degree or higher in a Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other suitable discipline and have significant experience in solid oral dose development within the pharmaceutical industry.
