Location: Leeds Teaching Hospitals
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Up to £24.500

If you are an existing Coach or Trainer delivering training in Clinical, Medical, Nursing or Health Care or if you have worked within the Healthcare sector as a Nurse or Clinical professional especially with experience working in the perioperative environment and want to take the first steps on a rewarding training career then we would love to hear from you.

What will the role involve?

As a Coach you will utilise your experience and passion for the subject to help inspire learners to realise their potential as you support, offer advice, and guide them through their apprenticeship training and assessment. You will have a direct impact on the quality of service that learners provide. Working at either a fixed location or across a network of Clinical/Medical practices in the region, you will work with learners that are passionate about providing exceptional services, using what they have learned during their apprenticeship training to deliver excellent client care on all occasions.

Have you got what it takes?

To be successful as a Coach at LDA you must be approachable, self-motivated and possess high levels of empathy. You must be an excellent negotiator and able to use your initiative to solve problems, often involving different stakeholders. You will need to come from a Healthcare Support Workers/Healthcare Assistant background and have worked in Nursing Homes, Doctors surgeries or on Hospital wards. It is essential that you have nursing qualifications, Clinical Level 2 or 3 or HSC Level 2 or Level 3 to be considered for this post.

You should have experience of providing advice and information ideally in clinical environment. You will need. You must be professional and have the ability to motivate and encourage people at all levels. You will need to demonstrate a passion for what you do along with lots of energy, enthusiasm, and the willingness to travel as required. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
