Consort Medical plc is looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to support the CEO and CFO at the company’s head office in Hemel Hempstead.
As part of a small team this role is key to ensuring the smooth running of the CEO’s office. The role is varied and covers the full range of duties including:
• Full diary management of CEO/ CFO. • Organising company events, booking restaurants etc. • Arranging significant travel, meetings and itineraries. • As a public company, liaising with many external contacts and maintaining key network relationships. • Acting as a gatekeeper for the CEO – screening calls and dealing with emails and other correspondence. • Office management – expenses, facilities and services. • Dealing with Chairman, Non Execs and organisation of Board Meetings. • Assisting with the CEO’s personal affairs.
The successful candidate must be a proactive and highly organised individual with:
• Demonstrable PA experience ideally at Board level of a plc or similar. • Strong secretarial skills with excellent working knowledge of the MS office suite. • Exceptional communication and problem resolving skills, tact and diplomacy. • Discretion and confidentiality. ESSENTIAL. • Proven ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure with a range of responsibilities and conflicting priorities. • Attention to detail is key. • Flexibility – willing to work late or be available outside of office hours when required. • Responsive, diligent and highly efficient.
