General Assistant - Laboratory - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Working as a general assistant within a small bottle store/laboratory environment in the heart of Nottingham for a government organisation whose principal aim is it protect and improve the environment.
You will be providing general support to the business so the suitable candidate must be flexible and adaptable and be able to work well as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Job Role:
- picking orders
- moving pallets
- preparing and dispatching orders to customers
- washing and cleaning bottles
- computer work is also an essential part of this role therefore it is important you have experience of working a computer system including email and Microsoft excel.
Required Skills & Experience:
Full training will be provided for this opportunity so previous experience in this field is not essential however it is desirable to have experience in a logistics, laboratory or environmental field or a personal or educational interest in this industry.
This is a temporary assignment.
This role has an immediate start and pays an hourly rate of £8.30 per hour. Full time hours 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and may include some weekend work as overtime. Flexibility is essential.
